need an introduction, as he is the most popular cricketer that India has seen
since the legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Dietary Control
In a recent interview, Virat himself said that he
hasn't tasted 'butter naan' and 'butter chicken' in the last 5 years which used
to be his favourite dish. This not only shows his immense discipline towards
his diet but also tells you that he stays away from any kind of junk foods at
all.
You can't expect your body to look and respond like a
sportsman if you're going to feed it junk food every now and then.
Your diet should be as nutritious as possible. Avoid
eating highly processed and less nutritious food all the time.

Increase Your Protein Intake
The combination of the chiselled physique with
explosive energy is impossible to achieve without a good amount of protein in
your diet.
Your body needs to have muscles to look muscular.
Protein is the building block for muscles; thus, it is very important that you
include enough protein in your diet on a daily basis.
Having 1.5 grams protein per Kg of body weight is a
good place to start with and thereafter you can increase it according to your
own individual needs.

Combination of Resistance and Agility Training
If you look at Virat's physique carefully, you will realize
that he doesn't have too much of muscle mass. He is not bulky like a
bodybuilder but yes, he has muscles.
To build muscles, you need to train with weights. When
your muscles are subjected to resistance training regularly, your body tries to
build new muscle fibres. Also, sport-specific performance like Kohli's will
need regular agility training as well.
You could choose from various forms of agility drills
like ladder drills, cone drills or medicine balls. Working out at least 5 to 6
days in a week with a combination of resistance training and agility training
will be best suited for a body like Virat's.

Consistency
Virat didn't become Virat overnight. It took him years
and years of hard work, dedication and discipline to become what he is today.
You have to keep this in mind when you make a target to be like him. There will
be temptation around you for skipping your workouts or to cheat on your meals,
